This is a long bag for a medium-neck (nakazao) shamisen or a thin-neck (hosozao) shamisen. It was made from fabric unpicked from an unused formal kimono (tsukesage). It is clean with no stains. The base color is cherry blossom pink. The density of the chrysanthemum pattern on the lining is dense at the hem and becomes sparser towards the top. The pattern is the same on the back. The inner lining is unused pale pink juban fabric with a textured pattern. It's a cute, girlish long bag. The outer and inner fabrics are 100% silk.
