Here are six well-used calligraphy brushes, with the bristles approximately 3 to 4.5 cm long. The Japanese brushes include a Cho-Rakusai-made wool brush (bristle length approximately 4.5 cm) and an Itachi (weasel hair) brush made by Tokyo Namura, with a bristle length of about 3 cm. The Chinese brushes are three "Kana Shoga" brushes (bristle length approximately 3.5 cm) from Zhejiang Huzhou, and one "Saigetsu Fuko" brush (bristle length approximately 4 cm), also from Zhejiang Huzhou. These brushes use delicate wool, offering a soft writing experience. These brushes have been used for about 30 to 40 years, but have been well-maintained. I would like to pass them on to someone who can use them.
