Thank you for viewing! This is a checked wool fabric. It's not a Japanese product, and I believe it's from either France or England, but I purchased it quite a while ago, so I've forgotten. The off-white and beige gingham check of just the right size is a very stylish design. I don't think there are many wool fabrics with this pattern and color combination. Please use it for wonderful handmade projects. Width: Approximately 148 x 105 cm Image 6 is the closest color to the actual fabric. It's a general wool fabric thickness, about the thickness of a shawl. I believe it's 100% wool, but it doesn't have the typical stiffness of wool; it's supple and has a good feel. It may have a small amount of cotton or linen mixed in. It's in unused and beautiful condition, but there are some fold wrinkles from storage.
