This is a folding fan painting by Seifu Tsuda. It was likely purchased or received at a New Year's party where my mother, who was probably his disciple, participated. The design depicts a sunrise over the sea, most likely the first sunrise of the year. The fan measures 27cm long when folded. The entire washi paper has slightly yellowed with age, but there are almost no scratches or stains. There is no box.
