【Item】 90's RED WING 8165 Classic Plain Toe 【Description】 Red Wing's classic "8165" plain toe boots. The soles were replaced with Vibram #4014 (white sole) at the end of 2024. I mainly used these for motorcycle touring. There are wrinkles and minor scratches, but they are in a condition that allows you to enjoy the aging process. There is a noticeable scuff on the inside of the right heel (see image). The adhesive on the midsole seems to have deteriorated, and there are some gaps, but there is no sign of it peeling off immediately at the moment. It seems better to replace the midsole along with the next sole replacement. Also, although it is not particularly noticeable when worn, there is a part where the stitching on the upper edge of the shaft has come undone. I removed the dirt as much as possible and brushed it to make it less noticeable, but there are also scratches and dirt on the toe. There are cracks and creases in the insole, so we recommend using an insole. The outsole is significantly worn down on the left foot only.
