They had famous players' cards redesigned by contemporary artists and then sold them. This one is Ichiro-themed, designed by Gregory Siff, an artist known for his rough, hand-drawn style, whose works are also collected by museums like MoMA. I purchased it as a piece by Siff, not specifically for Ichiro. The card is covered in a clear case. I opened it once but immediately put it back in storage.
