Can be used for writing names, kanji, kana, etc. These are ken-go brushes (mixed hair brushes). Details of the hair quality are unknown. ① Yugiri A fine brush from Suzaki. Suzaki is a long-established brush maker founded in the Meiji era. Made by craftsmen in Kuman, Hiroshima. [3mm x 24mm Weasel] List price: 2000 yen Unused Recommended for kana. ② Nanzan Kotobuki (for kanji and kana) Made by Suishodo [8mm x 45mm Weasel / Horse / Sheep, etc.] List price: 2200 yen Unused, long-term storage item. Made in imitation of a Yama-uma brush. It is supple and has moderate resilience, allowing for smooth writing. Suitable for kanji from about 6 characters on a half-size paper, and also for kana. Nanzan Kotobuki has cracks in the brush tube due to aging and drying during storage. The base is firm.
