Custom mouthpiece by James R. New (Jim New). This is a custom-made mouthpiece using a Giardinelli rim change blank (the original, unprocessed body, see reference image). It features: * A 13A4A rim (data from an old, large-stamped model) * A Doc Severinsen mouthpiece (data from the actual Bob Reeves mouthpiece brought in by Severinsen himself) * Shallow cup, 27 throat, tight backbore The rim threads are, of course, Giardinelli standard, making it compatible with other Giardinelli mouthpieces. The outer shape of the rim has been modified to resemble a Schilke rim. (There is a plating defect/blemish on the inside of the rim.) The shank is Bob Reeves standard and is a sleeve type. \*Sleeves are required separately. This is a special mouthpiece made using a Giardinelli blank that was left unprocessed. It has been stored away due to a change in the size I use, so I would like to pass it on to someone who can make good use of it. If you like 13A4A-based mouthpieces, please consider it.
