I have carefully hand-washed it for this listing. Since a pillow cover was always used when in use, there are no noticeable stains on the cover surface. Regarding the gel part, it originally came with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty, and because it's a solid product and my child's sleep was restless, they would take it off quickly, so there were no noticeable deformations, dents, or deterioration.
