Madame Broussolet, a true French pianist who studied under Cortot and Sauer, left overwhelming performances of large-scale works like Tchaikovsky due to her powerful shoulders (or perhaps something else!) and outstanding technique. Even in this No. 3 (live recording), her powerful fingerwork and the explosion of the cadenza are amazing!
