I've made a slouchy tote bag with an oval bottom using a natural, gentle cotton-linen washer fabric (yellow) with a subtle geometric pattern that can be seen in the texture. The central seam with the selvedge of the fabric is a key feature. I think the distorted random lines are cute... Please consider this if you don't mind. One side is also switched. The color of the stitching is difficult to see, but I made it a pale lavender. Interfacing is used on the opening and bottom of the lining. The lining is made of sturdy #11 canvas, but both the outer and lining fabrics are soft, resulting in a slouchy bag. There are also images taken with a small cushion inside. The handles are made of #11 lilac canvas, folded in half in the center. Shoulder carry is OK!
