For sale due to equipment reorganization. This is a Meade Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope with a 127mm aperture and a focal length of 1900mm (F15). It was removed from an ETX motorized mount and used on an AZ-GTi mount. A commercially available ring was modified to allow the attachment of a 31.7mm adapter to the objective side of a Nikon microscope binocular viewer, which was great for observing the moon and planets. As a bonus, an Arca-Swiss compatible plate and clamp are included. Items for sale (everything shown in the second photo): * Meade ETX-125 Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope (127mm aperture / FL=1900mm (F15)) * Objective lens cap * Photoport cap * Finder * Nikon microscope binocular viewer * Dedicated eyepiece (10x sc) * Arca-Swiss compatible quick release plate and clamp (with two 1/4 inch screws for attaching to the telescope. The connection to the mount is a thick screw (3/8 inch) type) Condition: The exterior has some scratches, but there are no major scratches or dents. The optics have some minor dust particles and some spots of coating peeling on the meniscus lens (see photo 3), but there appears to be no mold or scratches on the primary mirror. The modification of the binocular viewer attachment is amateur work, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about precision.
