This is a set of a sleeveless coat (hifu) and a drawstring bag for girls aged 3 for Shichi-Go-San (the Japanese festival for children). It has been remade from a silk kimono. Quilt batting (padding) is inserted, so it's fluffy and soft and cute. The body length is 48cm. The fabric is red with total shibori (tie-dye) design. A matching drawstring bag made of the same fabric is included. A chrysanthemum knot decoration is attached to the hifu. This will be the last hifu made with this fabric. It is carefully made, but it is a handmade item remade from a kimono. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the details.
