The sound is a blend of rich bass typical of L bodies and brilliant treble, a pleasant sound that resonates well from high to low! With scalloped bracing, the sound has a bouncy bass, rich overtones in the treble, and a wonderful balance of brilliant yet solid mid-range, allowing you to enjoy the dynamic and beautiful sound that is characteristic of Yamaha! When strummed with a flat pick, you get a brilliant and glossy stroke sound with a sharp edge, and when fingerpicked, the sound has a crisp, well-defined, and glossy treble typical of Yamaha, with a bouncy mid-low range unique to scalloped bracing that brings everything together, making it an all-around sound that can be used regardless of playing style or genre! 12F string height 2.9mm, fret remaining 70% (both amateur measurements) As it is an electric-acoustic guitar, it is ready to use for singing and live performances. I don't know the details of the L R Bergs, but it is an active type with a 9V battery held in place with Velcro inside the soundhole.
