This is a Kutani-yaki plate. It's a slightly deep, small plate. The excellent craftsmanship incorporates multiple techniques, including gold brocade, blue grain, and iron wire. The gold gilding has relatively minor wear, and the design is in good condition. There is one hairline crack and two areas of imperfect glazing.
