Tanro is an abbreviation for tannin-tanned leather, suitable for wax-resist dyeing, and is also ideal for carving. It's a leather that allows you to enjoy aging. This item was purchased directly from a Japanese wholesaler that handles Tochigi Leather. Please note that as it is a natural material, there may be tiger stripes, scratches, and wrinkles.
