Meissen Cup and Saucer Blue Onion Germany Size: Cup: Diameter 90mm, Height 65mm, Weight 135g Saucer: Diameter 140mm, Height 36mm, Weight 163g The design depicts plants such as pomegranates, peaches, bamboo, and chrysanthemums. However, since pomegranates were unfamiliar to Europeans at the time, they were mistaken for onions, and the name "Blue Onion" became established. Condition: - No noticeable stains or scratches. - No chips or repairs. - The bottom is clean, and the backstamp is clear. - The inside of the cup is also in good condition. - No original box, but will be carefully packed. - There are minor scratches and stains due to the vintage nature of the item.
