It is upcycled from unused fabric that was stored behind a Kyoto Kurefukuroya (a type of traditional Japanese bag shop). The inner fabric is also tailored in two colors, so you can turn it inside out and use it as a reversible bag. The shoulder strap is made of Sanada-himo, making it a wonderful item that evokes Japanese traditional culture. Sanada-himo is said to be the world's thinnest woven fabric.
