A small, antique Ko-Imari plate from the mid-Edo period, featuring a stencil-printed chrysanthemum and arabesque design. The surface utilizes a stencil to depict the chrysanthemum and arabesque pattern, while the rim is coated with rust glaze. Stencil printing often results in unevenness, but as you can see, this is a very beautiful and well-made plate. Size: Approximately 8.3 x 8 x 2.2 cm (slightly warped) Condition: * One small chip on the rim. Approximately 7 x 1.5 mm. Please check the images. It's on the rust-glazed part of the rim, so it's not very noticeable. * Slight wobble. * Slightly warped. * Slight unevenness in the glaze on the rim. Other than the above, there may be fine scratches, stains, unevenness, kiln marks, and air bubbles due to age.
