This is a Montblanc Writers Edition Virginia Woolf mechanical pencil. It is a limited edition of 4000 pieces with a serial number engraved. This mechanical pencil is usually only available as part of a set with a fountain pen and ballpoint pen, as Montblanc does not sell them individually. It has a twist-knock mechanism and a 0.7mm lead size. There are cracks in the twist mechanism as shown in the image. This is a common phenomenon due to age-related deterioration and does not affect its use. The twist mechanism will spin freely if turned too tightly. This can damage internal parts, so please twist only as much as necessary. There are some minor scuffs, but the exterior is in beautiful condition overall. This listing is for the pen only.
