This is a highly rare US original pressing record of Bob Dylan's acoustic masterpiece, "Good As I Been To You." At the time, the industry was completely transitioning to CDs, making records scarce. However, over 99% of the existing copies are EU originals, and US originals are extremely rare. The following year's companion album, "World Gone Wrong," didn't even have a US original pressing, making this even more valuable. This copy is a US original, matrix 1/1, with DMM etching, leaving no doubt about its authenticity. This album marked Dylan's return to his roots, his first solo acoustic work in decades, and the quality is superb, especially considering the companion album released the following year. This is a very popular album, and although a reissue was released in 2016 (?), the original pressing continues to appreciate in value, with the reissue actually driving up the price of the original. The jacket shows some signs of wear, but is generally clean. The disc is pristine, almost unplayed, and has no noise. It's unlikely you'll find a cleaner original pressing. The condition is excellent, and of course, there are no critical playback issues. However, the sound quality and overall listening experience can vary depending on the playback environment, including the stylus shape and wear, cartridge characteristics, arm setup, tracking force, and the overall combination of playback equipment. Based on my past reviews, my assessment of the sound quality generally aligns with that of buyers, but please purchase only if you understand the characteristics of used records.
