This is a beautiful piece of disassembled Oshima Tsumugi fabric. It has a moderate sheen, a smooth and very supple texture, and a sophisticated design of classic patterns in a deep, dark brown color, including a connecting hemp leaf pattern. The fine hemp leaf pattern of Oshima is particularly exquisite. As it has been disassembled, there may be pinholes, loose threads, and wrinkles. I don't think there are any noticeable damages, but please forgive any oversights. Please consider this item with the understanding that it is from the Showa era. How about using it for kimono remakes, such as making bags, small items, snoods, skirts, or clothing?
