This item is from the Showa era. It's a wooden letter rack divided into two compartments, and the middle divider can be removed. The "Sacchan" and paper balloon parts have come loose due to weak glue and are slightly misaligned, stuck a little lower than their original positions. This was the case from the beginning. I received it as a gift, so I couldn't go back to the store to complain, and it remained as it was. However, the original positions have underlying sketches, suggesting that the product was made by hand-gluing the parts. As a child, I was impressed (or perhaps just curious?) and thought, "So that's how it's made," so I didn't worry about it and left it as is. Over the years, the glue marks have become more noticeable. As it is a vintage item, there are also other signs of aging, such as dullness, minor stains, and peeling, not just the glue marks. I wiped it down with a dry, soft cloth, and I used a new brush to remove dust from the small crevices. However, I feel that further cleaning might damage the item, so please try it gently after you purchase it.
