This is a very rare navy blue British Army duffle coat. While hooded camel-colored ones are common, I've never seen this navy color in the market before. The design is also different from the British Post Office postman coat. The toggles are wooden and have a beautiful amber color. It features the British Army's detail of a single-layer fabric without lining, with cotton twill fabric used for reinforcement. Perhaps the initials of the unit? There's a faint white stencil on the back, which serves as an accent and looks great (it's not a stain). The often-faded military tag printing, which appears to have been typed on a typewriter at the time, is still clearly visible, allowing you to confirm the year and contractor, suggesting it wasn't used very often. I think it's in good condition for a vintage duffle coat. The only notable point is a slight reddish-brown stain on the sleeve cuffs as shown in photo 6. The toggles and strings, which are often missing, are also in good condition. The size is also smaller than the camel-colored duffle coats, making it very easy to wear. This is a rare coat that I can confidently recommend in terms of both size and condition.
