They feature traditional rattan wrapping, which prevents cracking and adds to the design. The high-quality rattan is chamfered and wrapped after the bamboo has been grooved, making it comfortable to hold and easy to play. The inside is coated with genuine lacquer, and ebony is attached to the head. The mouthpiece and finger holes are relatively small, making it easy to play for beginners, intermediate players, and women. I highly recommend it. It is unused, so there are no noticeable scratches or cracks, and the rattan wrapping at the top and bottom is completely secure with no looseness or bending. (There are some natural patterns inherent to the bamboo.)
