Of the total 14 pieces, the back of 2 of them are inscribed with "September 12, Showa 12 (1937)" and "Showa 13 (1938)". ※ Below "September 12, Showa 12 (1937)" is written "First Night of Enemy Landing," which was the very day the Sino-Japanese War (China Incident) broke out, so it is likely a poem composed on the day the war began. "The Milky Way clear, Shanghai burns brightly" ※ Below "Showa 13 (1938)" is the character "In the Field" With flowing, beautiful cursive script, there are also short strips with pictures and seals, and I think they are works of high artistic value.
