These are Converse One Star all-leather sneakers in orange, famously worn by Takuya Kimura in the drama "Beautiful Life," which led to an explosion in their popularity. While the orange One Star leather has been reissued several times, I believe the ones with the white tongue tag are from an early reissue. The number of pairs still in existence in the market is quite limited. (My apologies if my understanding is incorrect.) They have a real vintage feel due to aging. For American casual style, these sneakers with this kind of character fit better than brand-new sneakers that look obviously like recent reissues. They go perfectly with vintage denim, military pants, and other American casual styles. They are a timeless masterpiece that still hasn't lost its appeal.
