From a quick look, about a third of it has writing (I haven't counted, so it's just a personal feeling). Most of it is in pencil, and there was one page with a red ballpoint pen. (I only took a quick look, so there may be more. Please be aware of this.) We were planning to take the entrance exams in Kansai and were set on Hamagakuen, but we switched schools due to unforeseen circumstances.
