This is a glass *tonbodama* (glass bead) made with purple and light blue glass, with bubbles inside. It looks great just as it is, but you can also arrange it into a necklace, choker, bracelet, hair accessories like *kanzashi* (hair sticks) or hair ties, or as an obi (sash) decoration for yukata or kimono. There are many colors, patterns, and shapes, so please enjoy choosing your favorite *tonbodama* like a treasure hunt. The color changes depending on the light, so the appearance will differ under fluorescent light and sunlight. The images were taken in natural daylight indoors.
