As one of the UK's leading luxury porcelain kilns, it was beloved by royalty and nobility. This piece is from the early 19th century, before the age was completely overtaken by mechanization, a golden age when the "beauty of the human hand" was most strongly preserved. It is an extremely rare, entirely hand-painted work. After the Napoleonic Wars, Britain flourished as the world's dominant power. The aristocracy owned villas in the countryside, loved nature and art, and placed elegant tea time at the center of their lives. The idyllic scenery depicted on this teapot represents the "ideal world" that the British of the time aspired to. It was not merely a landscape, but a symbol of "abundance," "peace," and "culture." A rounded body, an elegantly rising spout, a handle that maximizes the beauty of curves, and a foot like a petal. It is a sculptural form that follows the Rococo style. Creating such a three-dimensional form in porcelain required advanced molding and firing techniques. Also, the greatest value lies in the fact that ・the pastoral scenery ・the gold arabesque ・the plant motifs ・the gold edging ・the lid decoration are all the work of skilled artisans. Because the painters drew each brushstroke, no two are exactly alike. On the soft, milky white porcelain surface, warm gold accents. Floating there are small paintings.
