Fujiwara Textile was a renowned weaving house in Nishijin, known for its karori (a type of brocade), but unfortunately, it ceased operations a few years ago. The pattern, woven with a plump texture like embroidery, offers a sense of three-dimensionality and luxury, elevating the kimono to a more dignified appearance. This is a classic design that generously uses gold thread, creating a splendid and traditional aesthetic, making it particularly recommended for pairing with furisode (long-sleeved kimono) for occasions like Coming-of-Age ceremonies and weddings. It will create an atmosphere of dignity and splendor befitting celebratory events. It is also suitable for pairing with kimonos featuring Yuzen dyeing, traditional patterns, or Shibori (tie-dyeing), as it won't look out of place.
