Purchased new at the store and used for about 30 minutes for the Hatsumiyamairi (Shinto shrine visit for newborns). It's silk. The basting threads were left on, so they remain. It has been stored carefully and is in beautiful condition! The color in the last photo is the closest to the actual color. I loved the elegant pattern, but since my second child was a boy, I'm offering it to someone who needs it. It will be folded and shipped.
