This is a new, unused item that has been stored. It is a kimono from about 30 years ago. We highly recommend this to those looking for a high-quality item that is no longer available today. The fabric and tailoring are of excellent quality. It has been stored in a paulownia chest, so there is no damage and it is in good condition. This is Oshima Tsumugi, considered a high-class kimono. We would love for someone to wear it. I am looking to reduce the number of kimonos my mother, who used to wear kimonos frequently, put together for me. This is a beautiful Oshima Tsumugi with a large pattern yet a deep, elegant color. It is being sold with a haori of the same pattern. This is the first time it has been opened for this listing. I did not want to handle it too much, so there are no photos of it spread out. If you would like, I can upload more images, so please let me know. The red in the first image did not come out well; it is a more subdued, deep red. Images 5 onwards are of the haori.
