I have only tried it on. There's a slight scent of incense (fragrance-like) when you bring the shirt close to your face, possibly from the used clothing store or the previous owner's environment. However, it's not a strong smell. You can wear it normally in the city. Also, as shown in the last two images (16 and 17), there's a slight twist in the fabric at one part of the hem, though it's not very noticeable. I believe both of these issues can be fixed with ironing after washing, but please be aware of this. The material is 54% linen and 46% cotton, a cotton-linen blend. It's slightly thick and soft, with a texture similar to nep fabric. The buttons are nut buttons made from tagua palm (vegetable ivory). The highlight is the tasteful embroidery of a dragon on the back and the embroidery placed on the cuffs, which adds an accent when rolled up. Domestic brand, made in Japan, which is a plus. Recommended for those who like domestic brands such as Ralph Lauren, HOUSTON, Warehouse, Sugar Cane, AVIREX, Pherrow's, UES, Sun Surf, geruga, and Rude Gallery.
