In 2008, I suffered a sudden accident that resulted in a cervical spine injury and paralysis from the shoulders down, leaving me with hemiplegia. However, after that, we started the live event "GBGB "G-Beat Gig Box"" as the host band, and in 2013, ROGUE reformed as a band. I was able to stand on stage again as a vocalist. This event is now in its fourth year in 2016, and this year it will be held on June 25th at Yamada Green Dome Maebashi in Gunma Prefecture. And this year, Mr.Children, Crazy Ken Band, FLYING KIDS, and JUN SKY WALKER(S) have decided to participate! In particular, I was really looking forward to performing with Mr.Children, as it was an experience that was once impossible due to the accident, and I was looking forward to this long-awaited first collaboration. This is because our revival of ROGUE would not have been possible without the support of Mr.Children. The proceeds from this charity event, excluding necessary expenses, will be used entirely to purchase welfare vehicles and for donations aimed at creating a barrier-free society.
