Faithfully capturing the characteristic sound of the original machine, which was the source of the idea, it reproduces the sound of a classic, high-quality spring reverb unit from the 1950s. The Uni-Verb has a vibe section that is easier for guitarists to use than the original machine, with a wider speed range for the vibrato or chorus effect, and a slightly higher output. The Uni-Verb is powered by a DC9V (9-volt direct current) power supply, but it boosts the voltage internally to 24V, so you can use a commonly available DC9V power supply without using special cables or power supplies.
