There are some scratches, paint deterioration, and metal dullness due to aging, including on the pickguard. Personally, it doesn't bother me much... There is a small scratch on the neck heel, about the size of a grain of rice. The biggest scratch is... this one. In the image, it's hidden by the "bridge," but there is "color transfer from the bridge." It's hidden, so I don't think it's a concern... The case has some discoloration due to age. The zipper works well, but the knob is deteriorated, so a repair part has been attached. The rare "Tobacco Flat" color with a vintage feel is outstanding.
