Thank you for viewing. Siete Leguas engineer boots, model 1847, are pre-owned. Made in Mexico. The size is 9 inches, but they feel a bit large. The shafts are thick, so they should fit comfortably even for those with wider feet. The construction is very good, as expected from a Mexican-made boot, and features a Goodyear welt construction with double-stitched welts. The design is clearly inspired by classic boots, with two fixed marks on the upper, and what appears to be a wooden or leather shank nailed in, resulting in a slightly raised arch area on the sole. The sole is Vibram Mini-Vibram, which is thick, wear-resistant, and provides good grip. The upper leather is beige suede, which is thick and has a good structure, but is not stiff and offers a supple feel. The toe box likely has a plastic toe cap, making it relatively lightweight and preventing foot pain. I purchased these new about 15 years ago, and although I haven't worn them often, I have taken care of them. There are some signs of wear, such as wrinkles and wear on the soles, but there are no noticeable scratches, stains, or dirt, and I believe they are in good condition. The soles have only minor wear, so they can still be worn as is. The original box is not available, so they will be shipped in another box.
