High-quality recording tape, maxell XLⅡ 35-180, set of 4. - Brand: maxell - Model: XLⅡ (EE position required) *Cannot be used with normal position. - Type: 35-180 - Quantity: 4 reels - Application: Open reel tape The following points were checked before listing: ① Fast forward and recording (silent) were performed on a home tape deck to confirm that the tape feeds properly. ② After the above, rewinding was performed, but please understand that my AKAI GX747 is also old, and there may be some slight tape winding irregularities even during recording. ③ Recording and playback were performed in the EE position for about 10 minutes each on all 4 tapes, and it was confirmed that they worked normally. The high-frequency clarity of the EE position has a charm that can only be achieved with open reel. While UD or other LH tapes are sufficient for standard music software, this tape caters to the demands of enthusiasts who are always seeking better recording quality, and it is difficult to find tapes in good condition. Condition of the items: ① There are scratches on the reels, and slight discoloration of the aluminum due to aging. ② There is dirt on the leader tape as shown in photo 8. ③ The tape attaching the top lid and the box has deteriorated and come off, so it has been repaired with green tape as shown in photo 9. ④ Some of the backs are cracked as shown in photo 10 and have been repaired. ⑤ There are scratches on the boxes. The AKAI GX-747 was used for the above checks. Therefore, I cannot guarantee how it will perform on the buyer's deck. Basically, no claims and no returns. Also, I have had tapes swapped out and returned after accepting returns in the past, so please make your judgment based solely on my text and photos. Also, please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for items in like-new condition. I have purchased a considerable number of open reel tapes over 30 years, and I have had many bad experiences, so I want to perform at least minimal testing when selling. * Especially, many have severe peeling of the back coating, and since this XLⅡ also has back coating, a running test was performed.
