Set of two old bottles, one from England and one from Japan, both with lids. The dark brown bottle is from England. It has large air bubbles and parting lines. The clear bottle with a slightly yellowish-green lid is likely from Japan. It has many small air bubbles. It is uranium glass and glows vividly under a 365nm 3W blacklight. Both are in very good condition. Purchased from an antique shop in Tokyo. Especially the clear bottle with the slightly yellowish-green lid is a stunningly beautiful bottle. I believe it's from the Taisho to early Showa era. As interior decoration, they look very stylish displayed on a windowsill where the light shines through. Although they are small bottles, they have a strong presence when displayed together.
