This is a Dunlop Victor Capo, Flat type. It's a new, discontinued product. However, there are some initial scratches and minor imperfections on the product. Victor Capos come in curved and flat types, and this capo is the flat type. The necks of steel-string guitars, such as folk guitars, have a slight curve. Ideally, a curved capo is better, but this flat type should generally fit. If it feels loose when you put it on, you can use pliers to bend it slightly to add some curve. I use two pliers to bend mine. When bending, place a 5mm thick piece of rubber between the capo and the pliers to prevent scratches. Also, when bending, be careful not to put any force on the screw knob, as this can cause the screw attachment to break and render the capo unusable. When bending, make sure no force is applied to the knob. Please bend at your own risk, as I am not responsible for any damage caused by bending.
