This is a work from 1939, made by Toko-ta style Kokeshi craftsman Bunzō Satō when he was 39 years old. The brushstrokes convey a sharp expression and a sense of tension, making it one of the masterpieces of the Toko-ta style. Size: Approximately 8 sun (24 cm) As this is a very old Kokeshi, there are signs of age such as sunburn, stains, dirt, and scratches.
