This is a superb, subtly shaded, solid-colored silk kimono (Iromuji) with a "hannari" (elegant and refined) gradation. The color changes exquisitely depending on the angle and the light, making it a beautiful kimono. The fabric is also of the highest quality, and you can immediately tell by the drape. It has a single family crest (mon) sewn on. This is a one-of-a-kind piece dyed by an artisan. The lining (hakke) was also dyed to match. It was made to be shared with my mother, so it's a smaller size. Each part can be let out. After wearing it twice, it was professionally cleaned and sweat-treated, and it came back this month.
