This is a listing for a very rare silver Helios-44. It is the initial model of the Helios-44-2. Compared to the later model (44-2), it is said to have stronger swirly bokeh. This is a rare lens that is hardly distributed in Japan. Front and rear caps, and a conversion ring are included. It is an M39 mount, but by attaching an M42 conversion ring, it can be used with an M42 adapter. The conversion ring is included. It is not a Leica L (L39) mount. I have noted this for clarification, as some people occasionally misunderstand. When connected to an M42 mount via the conversion ring, the position of the Helios dial may be slightly misaligned. This does not affect the image quality at all, but I have noted it for those who may be very particular. The body has some minor scratches, but I think it is in quite good condition for an old Russian lens. It is probably difficult to find one in this good condition in Japan.
