This habutae fabric combines raw silk (filament) for the warp and spun silk (SPUN) for the weft. It has a calm luster and a plump feel. Because it uses spun silk for the weft, there may be some noticeable slubs. To take advantage of the characteristics of the silk material, excessive bleaching is not performed.
