I purchased this at the Georg Jensen flagship store in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1993. I had been admiring it at a design office, so I decided to buy it. The flagship store had items that were different from those available in Japan, items only available locally. I think this is a measuring instrument that was probably not available in Japan. I've become elderly and am moving, and I no longer have a wall to hang it on. I polished it due to aging, but the color change couldn't be removed, and I'm accepting this gray color as is. I'm hoping someone who appreciates this kind of item will take it.
