Second round of tidying up the in-laws' storage. It's hard to say whether these have been used much... Personally, I find these rimmed bowls useful, even as small plates. The rims are helpful for things like pickles, where the juice might run, or for tsukudani (simmered foods) to prevent them from spilling over. It's a small thing, but it's convenient. Also, this color complements both green vegetables (like ohitashi) and brown dishes (like meat). I think they'll be easy to use. These might become a frequently used set... (Wow, these are heavy! This is definitely going by courier.)
