This is a piece of thin silk fabric that has been washed, stretched, and returned to its bolt form. It has likely been around for 50 years and has been re-dyed several times, finally dyed black. Due to the thinness of the fabric, it's uncertain whether it has the strength to be remade into a kimono. It might be better suited for use as a material for handmade items like dolls or for patchwork weaving. The length is just under 10 meters, and the width is 34cm.
