This is an Arduino Pro Micro, commonly used in DIY keyboards. It has a Type-C connector. Except for the connector, it's exactly the same as the Micro USB version often included in kits, so you can easily convert to Type-C by simply swapping it out. We have sold many of these, and there have been no reports of defects. There seem to be several specifications for the Pro Micro, and some may cause issues with the connection between the left and right sides when used in split keyboards, but this one works without any problems. After trying several, I finally found one that works right out of the box. We have confirmed the operation with the same lot of products on a 7sPro. The feel of operation, including communication between the left and right sides, is exactly the same as the original. Chip: ATmega32U4 5V/16MHz Because it's Type-C, the connector shouldn't come loose like Micro USB, so soldering with the included pin headers should be fine. If you absolutely want to be able to remove it, please purchase a "Cons-through" connector from Yusha Kobo. Please note that we cannot provide support for things like firmware writing, so please purchase only if you can research it yourself. Please follow the build guide for your keyboard to set it up (the same procedure as the usual initial setup). (We can provide some support if you're using a 7sPro.) We have plenty in stock. Please contact us if you want multiple units. 2 for 2700 yen 1300 yen each for 3 or more
