The garment called a "cache-coeur" is not widely known, so I'll explain. It can be worn like a dress, but it's designed to be tied with strings inside, so it might come undone. Therefore, wearing something underneath is the most stable way to wear it. It's not designed like a kimono, where you wrap it in a "so" shape. Highly recommended. It's a crepe-like material. The color balance, pattern, and design are wonderful. The maker is skilled at creating larger sizes, so when measuring a cache-coeur, measurements like the chest width depend on how you tie the inner strings. I don't measure those, and I'm not the maker, so I won't confirm each detail. If you have even one concern, you'll likely end up not buying it, so please purchase from the maker directly. When I purchased it, it was a cache-coeur, and the maker mentioned that the inner string area was slightly off, but I didn't really notice. I often used it as a haori (a type of jacket). This kimono material is prone to shrinking, so please be careful. When washing, I would slightly dampen it, stretch it out, and hang it to dry. I avoid using a washing machine. You can also smooth out wrinkles with water, so unless there's a major stain, I use self-care methods like Resesh (a fabric refresher). I'm not an expert, so please use your own ideas to care for it and enjoy it for a long time. The strings can be put in the pockets, and then it becomes a haori. It's convenient when you want to wear something light. It's a slightly long-sleeved type.
